MBAC aspires to become the platform bridging Malaysia’s and Qatar’s business communities

Mission

To accomplish the vision of MBAC the council will:

• Enhance the economic collaboration in both countries

• Promote and protect the credibility and image of Malaysia and its companies in Qatar

• Promote Qatar, business opportunities in Qatar and Qatari companies in Malaysia

• Act as the official business advisory council to the Malaysian Embassy in Qatar

Objectives

The following objectives will support the Mission and Vision:

• To establish an efficient non profit organisation

• To actively promote and grow bilateral trade and economic collaboration

• To actively promote closer relationships between the business communities in Qatar and Malaysia

• To act as a portal for providing information, advice and where necessary vehicle for representation to Malaysian companies seeking opportunity in Qatar

Main Activities

• Monthly consultative gathering

• Advisory services to members and visiting Malaysian businessmen

• Representing MBAC at events, trade exhibitions and forums

• Arranging dialogues, ad-hoc talks and discussions with key business leaders in Qatar on matters relating to trade commerce and investment;

• Disseminating information relating to opportunities in trade, commerce and investment both in Malaysia and Qatar
