Membership is on invitation by the Embassy of Malaysia in Qatar and there is no fee involved.

2. When and where was the first MBAC meeting held?

The 1st MBAC meeting was held on 1st October, 2005 at the Embassy of Malaysia, Doha.

3. What are the main benefits to the MBAC members?

The Malaysian Business Advisory Council was formed in direct response to the growing need to facilitate the developing commercial activities between Qatar and Malaysia. The Council is a non-profit organisation with a number of important objectives:

• To provide a forum for commercial discussion

• To develop better culture and social understanding

• To act as a clearing house for information on trade

• To facilitate liaison
